Please ignore this notice if you have completed your DGA and have sent in your certification to RGII.
Further to communication in August relating to the Domestic Gas Assessment (DGA) and concerns raised by the IRP during recent meetings, RGII have been liaising with training centres about their capacities for training and assessment.
As you will be aware, due to Covid restrictions RGIs whose DGA either expired in 2020 or is due to expire in 2021 have had their deadline for completing their assessment extended to 31st of May 2022. This currently affects over 900 RGIs.
To get assessment completed and/or the training date at your preferred training centre, RGII recommend you book as soon as possible. This may suit your business early in the new year.
It is important that all RGIs whose certificate of competency expired in 2020 or 2021 provide proof of completion of the DGA (not just having booked it) to RGII by 31st May 2022.
Failure to provide a DGA certificate or proof of results before 31st May 2022 will result in suspension from the register until the DGA is completed.
We thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
