MANAGER, SAFETY (GAS)

RGII is the Gas Safety Supervisory Body, appointed by the Commission for Regulation of Utilities, to regulate gas installations in respect of safety in Ireland.

RGII is seeking to appoint a Manager, Safety (Gas) to their Dublin base to lead and develop a national team of inspectors and play a pivotal role in delivering transformational programmes.
Reporting to the General Manager, this is a crucial role to support the successful planning, performance management and delivery of the programmes.

Applications are invited from individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Solid management background, operating within the energy/utilities sector                
  • Experience delivering transformation projects and supporting organisations through change
  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities with proven experience of leading, motivating and developing a team
  • Experience rolling out national programmes and applying national legislation/standards
  • Strong aptitude for IT processes and systems with ability to utilise and implement technology to enhance business performance
  • Experience in budget planning and management
  • Relevant engineering or technical qualification
