This road show is an ideal opportunity for you, the members, to discuss the issues that affect you in your everyday business, when interacting with RGII. It will also be an opportunity for RGII to update you on the changes and issues that have taken place since the last road show e.g. requirements of Membership, Competency Assessment, Return of Certificates, Safety Bulletins, Illegal prosecutions/investigations, the updated Gas Standards I.S. 813:2014, the National Annex for Standard I.S. EN 1949, gas meter connections, new and existing safety locks/unlocks and non-domestic certification for new meters. There will be an update on the processes re consultation on the Registration for Non Domestic Installers and on the re -tendering process for the Gas Safety Supervisory Body (GSSB).
With such varied topics we have enlisted the help of the Commission for Energy Regulation (CER), Bord Gáis Networks (BGN), the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) and between us we hope to inform you and answer all your questions. By attending there will also be an opportunity for you to avail of a discounted price for the updated standard I.S. 813:2014 courtesy of the NSAI.
