The Commission for Energy Regulation (CER) operates the Registered Gas Installer (RGI) regulatory scheme. To further improve the scheme the CER is introducing the requirement for all RGIs to undertake a competency assessment on a five year cycle, as previously detailed in Section B, Clause 2.5.3 of the Criteria Document (CER/08/130-v1.3).
